Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) is now speeding away from the sun and Earth and fading quickly. It will soon become again the lone and invisible wanderer on a cold and lonely path through space.
After its discovery on 27. March 2020, it has probably become the most photographed comet in human history within only 4 months. These images will help us remember this nice visitor for many years, but I cannot help to wonder in what condition Neowise will find our planet during its next visit in 7000 years and if there will still be humans around to enjoy and greet it.
About Ralf Rohner
As a landscape photographer and pilot I have the privilege to travel the world and visit some of the most beautiful places on our planet. I started photography as an astro-photographer, which still shows in my passion for nightscapes.
