Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

I took this image at 'Lago del Pic d'Asti' on the Italian side of a high alpine pass between France and Italy.
I arrived at the small lake at lunchtime and found it enshrouded in fog. Tired after shooting 3 nights in a row, I enjoyed a lazy afternoon and chatted with some of the campers. When they heard that I was planning to do astrophotography, they voiced their doubts due to the fog. I told them that I was expecting the fog to dissipate shortly after sunset, which earned me a few chuckles.
As sunset arrived, the fog subsided within minutes, giving way to completely clear skies. Now it was me who chuckled, glad that my assessment of the weather had proved to be correct.
I invited the campers to join me for some stargazing, but they called it a night instead. They might have decided differently if they knew what they were about to miss...
As a landscape photographer and pilot I have the privilege to travel the world and visit some of the most beautiful places on our planet. I started photography as an astro-photographer, which still shows in my passion for nightscapes. While not exclusively shooting at night, a big part of my work shows the beauty of the starry night skies in combination with some iconic landscapes. Thanks for visiting my gallery.
