Blue Core metal print by Ralf Rohner. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
The time window to capture the rising Milky Way core in February was very short. I therefore decided to continue shooting during early nautical twilight.
While the Milky Way is still visible during these first minutes of twilight, it has less contrast and the sky quickly turns blue.
On the other hand this allowed me to capture the rising Venus and the foreground showed more detail. Of course I happily accepted the bonus.
